Arabic and French Resources for Learners Affected by Natural Disasters
In the past few days, we have been deeply shocked to watch the devastating natural disasters in both Morocco and Libya unfold.
The earthquake in Morocco has affected thousands of people in large parts of the country, particularly those in remote rural and mountainous areas. Meanwhile, over ten thousand people are missing in Libya after two dams and four bridges collapsed in the catastrophic flooding caused by Storm Daniel.
Education Above All stands ready to support the education of the thousands of impacted children in both countries. Our Internet Free Education Resource Bank (IFERB) provides hundreds of screen-free educational resources. These are available in Arabic and French, and appropriate for several different age groups and learning styles. They are free-access and open-source, making them ideal for quickly providing education in disaster zones.
EAA has further resources available to help children feel safe, secure, and supported, including tips and advice for caregivers and parents on how to help their children during this difficult time.
