In 2018, Education Above All (EAA)’s Al Fakhoora programme partnered with the General Directorate of Endowments (AWQAF) and leading universities to establish its Qatar Scholarship Programme in Qatar (formerly Dynamic Futures Qatar).

The Qatar Scholarship Programme currently includes the following partner universities: Qatar University, University of Doha for Sciences & Technology, Qatar Foundation Universities, Al Rayan International University College, Oryx Universal College with LJMU Qatar, Qatar Finance and Business Academy, Arkansas State University in Qatar, Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

What are the criteria to apply for the Qatar Scholarship Programme?

  1. Aged between 17 and 25 years old.
  2. Holding legal residency in the State of Qatar. 
  3. Having studied for a minimum of eight years in Qatar.
  4. Not currently receiving any other educational support.
  5. Having secured admission at one of our partner universities.
  6. Pursuing a degree aligned with the country's future market needs.
  7. All Qatar Scholarship partner universities offer fields of study leading to employment in priority sectors that are identified based on a current or projected need of Qatar’s economy. This policy is aligned with the project’s goal to form productive members of Qatar’s society.
  8. Family’s total income not exceeding the maximum threshold established by EAA.
  9. Profiles of applicants with special needs and orphans receive particular consideration.

How can I apply for the scholarship?

Apply directly to one of the Qatar Scholarship partner universities by consulting the “Financial aid and Scholarships” section and following the outlined admissions procedures.  Partner universities may also guide you, and please contact them directly for support with the application process. 


EAA DOES NOT receive direct applications.


When is the deadline to apply for the scholarship?

The Qatar Scholarship Programme follows the individual admissions timelines of each university.
For details, kindly contact the university directly. 

How are scholarship recipients selected?

The Qatar Scholarship Programme follows a rigorous selection process, and the number of granted scholarships is limited. 

Interested applicants must first receive a letter of acceptance from their university of choice.  

Then, EAA’s Qatar Scholarship team conducts further selection assessments, including:

-    Financial analysis interview
-    Written task
-    Selection camp
