Fahad Al-Sulaiti
Fahad is the Chief Executive Officer of Education Above All (EAA) Foundation. He joined the Foundation since its inception in 2012, where he successfully supported in developing the foundation’s Governance, Strategy, Financial and Partnership Models and Business Plan.
Driven by the Founder’s vision, Fahad has successfully positioned the Foundation as one of the top key actors globally on education, recognizing The State of Qatar’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Education Development.
Currently, Fahad manages the portfolio of the foundation with projects in 60 countries, leveraging with the partners a commitment of USD 3 Billion, with more than 100 partners from development banks, UN agencies, Official Development Agencies, international NGOs and private sector.
This was achieved through building strong partnership and financial models with the major funder countries such as USA, UK, France, Italy and South Korea, and Development Banks such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank and African Development Bank and other sectors.
Following the Founder’s mission, Fahad has worked on strengthening the Foundation’s relationships with the Governments of the countries where projects are implemented, and making significant impact in their education system. Through that, the countries recognized Qatar’s commitment for education development.
Fahad is also the Chairman of the Board of EAA’s international entity in the United Kingdom, Educate A Child International, which provides resources mobilization and facilitates funds to its projects.
Fahad has 23 years of experience, among them 12 years in EAA and 11 years leading roles in Finance and Administration and managing projects at Qatar Foundation, in addition to working in retail, international, and corporate banking at Qatar National Bank (QNB), managing a number of its overseas operations.
Fahad holds a BSc degree in Business Administration with concentrations in accounting and economics, and an EMBA from HEC Paris in Qatar.
