Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer with video editing skills, to visually and dynamically communicate our mission and strategically enhance the impact of our work in the development sector.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop impactful visuals across various media, including brochures, reports, social media graphics, presentations, website content, and print materials.
  • Work closely with EAA teams to understand their goals and translate them into engaging and effective visual designs that resonate with target audiences.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all design projects while staying current with design trends and best practices.
  • Propose and implement creative and innovative solutions for data visualizations, infographics, maps, and other visuals, including 3D elements.
  • Contribute graphic content to multimedia products, including video editing and production, develop EAA initiative branding elements (logo, typography, color palette), and ensure all materials adhere to the EAA visual style guide.
  • Provide design support, as needed, and create adaptable visual asset templates for EAA programs use, including templates for video content to ensure consistency across all media formats.

This Role Demands the Following Qualities:

Education

  • A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative and impactful design work.

Other Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of key design and multimedia software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign), Cap Cut, Dimension, Canva, etc.
  • Expertise in graphic design, layout, illustration, and data visualization (especially for digital platforms).
  • Experience in audio-visual production, video editing, and producing/printing communication materials (brochures, booklets).
  • Understanding of typography, color, and printing processes.
  • Proven track record of supporting large-scale, international campaigns from concept to launch
  • Experience in designing visuals for international audiences and adhering to cultural sensitivities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
  • Excellent written and editing skills, fluency in English (Arabic a plus), and strong communication with various audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and out-of-the-box thinking skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, flexible, and able to multitask.
  • Team player with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience supporting big/ international campaigns
